Capital West - the original plan
The following image is of the original plan for Capital West where the Meridian Tower was to be 16 stories high, and the top levels of Building 2 would step up by two floors to each new level and not one as they were finalised as. The main objection from local groups was that the tower could be seen from within Kew Gardens. You might note elsewhere on this site (Thames Water plans) there is a 16 story tower proposed but because it is set further back from the Thames it can not be seen from within Kew Gardens.
