St Lawrence's Church up for sale

Just when we start gearing up to try and save St George's Church they put another Brentford landmark church up for sale.

St Lawrence's Church, a Grade II listed redundant church at the west end of Brentford, right next to the newly constructed Brentford Dock development at the south end of the Island, is up for sale at the heavenly sum of £1.5 million.

Included in the price is £25,000 of recent restoration work care of English Heritage and 1.32 acres of land, albeit a graveyard.
