Council Tax 2005-2006

- 11-Mar-2005
Council tax for Hounslow is set to rise by 4.6% - an average rise of £58 per property.

An extract from the Brentford Chiswick & Isleworth Times quotes Councillor Mark Bowen, the Conservatives Deputy leader of stating:

"Council tax has increased for resident's of the London Borough of Hounslow by nearly 90% since 1997. That is bad enough in its own right but it is even worse when you consider that the services provided by the council have not improved by 90% in that time."
