Have a smashing time in Chapel Lane

- 12-Jan-2006
Visitors are having a smashing time in Chapel Lane at our expense.

It appears the lights used to illuminate the trees and shrubs along Chapel Lane are an irresistible temptation to those with nothing better to do and are being smashed.

It transpires that no less than 18 of the lights have had the glass covers broken this week.

That explains why there is not as much light down Chapel Lane as we are used to. Aside from the work being undertaken to restore all our lighting to good working condition we certainly don’t need the expense of replacing the light glass every time some unsavoury element decides to walk through Chapel Lane.

Be vigilant and if you see any unusual activity as people pass through Chapel Lane report it to the Concierge immediately – there is a CCTV camera pointing down Chapel Lane so images might be available.
