Residents Community receives official status

It might be of some surprise to you but we only achieved offical status from the Landlord this week.

Despite operating for some two years as an official residents association under the title Holland Gardens Residents Community we had not applied for and received official staus from the Landlord, Solitaire Holding & Management Group.

This was because the original property manager staunchly refused to accept any less than 65% of owners being represented as the requirement.

Despite many letterbox drops and internal promotions we hovered around just under 60% of owners in the community until recently when we passed the 60% mark.

With the recent arrival of the new property manager and a much more amicable relationship with him, coupled with the release of guidelines on the percentages required by ARMA (Association of Registered Managing Agents) we established that 60% was sufficient to be recognised and formerly applied to Pembertons in the last Committee meeting before the end of 2005.

Pembertons recommended approval by Solitaire and the Holland Gardens Residents Community is all now official.
