Brentford Area Action Plan - Get involved

- 01-Feb-2006
The more people that become involved, the more likely that the plan will reflect what local people want. If you want to do more than just fill in a questionnaire...

Come along to the Brentford Plan exhibition at the St Paul's Centre, Brentford, on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th February, and talk to a planner or a Councillor. We would be very happy to discuss the preferred options in more detail with you.

Take part in the 'Brentford Options Event' on 24th February. This will be a one day event at the end of February, with presentations from Councillors and planners, followed by workshops and optional 'walkabouts'. Lunch will be included. You can tell us your ideas and hear what other people have to say too. Invitations will be sent to a variety of people and local groups in order that we gain a cross section of views during the day. However, if you have a particular interest and would like to take part in this one-day event please let us know.

Numbers are strictly limited and you must have your attendance confirmed by the Council prior to the event taking place.

  • Preferred plan participation
Too late now to get involved in tomorrow's workshops, but do see what's what if you can get to the exhibition on both Friday and Saturday. As suggested, the questionnaires that are sent in will have an impact out of all proportion to the numbers - remember this "preferred plan was influenced by a mere 235 participants! But the forms will mean little if comments aren't added where appropriate, and you can always write in letters! If you haven't contributed, you can't complain afterwards.
