Watermans Park Cleanup a success

- 11-Jun-2006
The weather contributed greatly to the number of people volunteering to help with the Thames clean-up.

As this dirty picture of our Chairman reveals the weather was more than perfect for the cause - it was about 28°C - but nonetheless a considerable amount of rubbish was moved into the appropriate containers for removal by the Port of London Authority (PLA).

Holland Gardens was well represented on the day and two Brentford councillors also joined in - bearing in mind this was after the election - so well attended.

Looks more to me that John is upset. Did you happen to throw a 'mud ball' at John, Stephen!? (Well done though - for the cleaning effort that is!)

Ed's note - he was just looking for his beers we had hidden - in the mud!
