St George's Church - Cleanup Day

- 11-Nov-2006
Today saw a small but dedicated team of Holland Gardens residents give the area in front of St Georges Church, on the High Street, a good cleanup to remove excessive weeds that had been allowed to grow over recent times.

St George's Church has not had any care given to it for some time - indeed you might even think the previous tenant negligent in their responsibilities of keeping the Grade II listed Sarah Trimmer Hall clear of graffiti, let alone the removal of weeds from in front of the Church.

Here are some images recording before and after our efforts.

Thanks to all the volunteers who participated! Well done it looks SO much better. I used to attend Sunday School in that building, it is good to see it cleaned up.
