Travelodge Cafe & Bar opens

After a considerable period without any on-site facilities, the Travelodge Hotel next door has opened a cafe and bar.

Those of us wanting a quick drink and not having to go far might find the new facilities right next door appealing.

A cosy new cafe and bar was opened yesterday and sees the ability for us locals to have drinks served up until 11:00 pm where it becomes hotel guests only who can buy drinks.

The cafe and bar comes wifi enabled so might be very useful to those of us who work from home and want a local venue to discuss business issues and surf the Internet with colleagues.

Don't get excitied about river views though - the best spot in the building, overlooking the water, is not part of the cafe and might open later as a meeting facility.
