Musical Museum reopens

- 12-Nov-2007
After quite some time being closed to relocate to new premises, the Musical Museum reopens soon.

Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th November see the new premises open to:

'Friends of the Musical Museum' fund raising sale of collectible and bric-a- brac £1 entrance with the opportunity to few the facilities but without instruments being played.

The Musical Museum, housed in St George's Church for over 40 years, relocated to it's new premises next to the Jet Service Station and is about to reopen to the public.

The new museum exterior, built by 'Section 106' funding from this Capital West development, is distinctive in it's grey, blue and terracotta colouring and unmissable with vertical stripes in pink, purple and blue down the High Street facing side.

The museum volunteers took over a year to relocate the instruments the short distance from St George's Church to the new premises, taking care to reassemble them at the other end.
